岐阜大学工学部機械工学科では、ハノイ工科大学とのツイニングプログラムの一環として、同大学で開催された大学説明会に参加しました。今回の説明会では、ハノイ工科大学の2年生・3年生を対象に、岐阜大学および岐阜の魅力について紹介させていただきました。
　説明会では、昨年から岐阜大学に留学している学生さんにもご協力いただき、現地の学生にとっても親しみやすく、活気ある雰囲気の中で進行することができました。留学生の生の声が加わることで、岐阜大学での学びや生活のイメージがより具体的に伝わったように感じます。
　ハノイの街は人々の活気に満ちており、訪れるたびにそのエネルギーに圧倒されます。今回も多くの刺激を受け、我々自身もさらに努力を重ねていかなければと感じました。
　これまでアメリカ方面への訪問が続いていましたが、久しぶりに東南アジアを訪れることで、新たな視点や交流の可能性を再認識する機会となりました。来年もこのプログラムに参加させていただく予定ですので、今後も継続的な交流を通じて、両大学の連携をさらに深めていきたいと考えています。

　As part of the twinning program between Gifu University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, we participated in a university information session held at HUST.
　During the session, we introduced Gifu University and the city of Gifu to second- and third-year students at HUST. The event was further enlivened by the participation of a student who has been studying at Gifu University since last year. Their contribution helped create a friendly and engaging atmosphere, allowing the students to gain a clearer understanding of life and learning at Gifu University through firsthand experiences.
　The city of Hanoi is full of energy and vitality, and every visit leaves a strong impression. This time was no exception—we were inspired and reminded of the importance of continuing our own efforts.
While our recent visits have mostly been to the United States, this trip reaffirmed the value of engaging with Southeast Asia. We are planning to participate again next year and hope to further strengthen the collaboration between our universities through ongoing exchange.
