毎年参加している自動車技術会秋季大会の学生ポスターセッションに、今年も参加しました。 今年は春季大会には参加できませんでしたが、秋季大会では2名の学生が発表を行いました。
　
　大学院生の祖父江祐太さんは、HVACで使用される曲がりダクトなどにおける流体抵抗・騒音の低減を目的として、流体–固体境界の音響インピーダンスを制御する新しい技術について発表しました。本研究では、従来の吸音・遮音・形状最適化とは異なり、境界面の性状を制御して音響インピーダンスを適正化し、渦や乱れの発生しない流れ場の構築を目指しています。

　 学部生の山北紘史さんは、自動車用ホイールの空力および振動・騒音特性に関する研究成果を発表しました。我々は、NV・空力・操安の三立を目指したホイール設計技術の確立に取り組んでおり、軽量性や高剛性を維持しながら振動騒音と空力抵抗を低減することを目標としています。今回の発表では、NVおよび空力性能に関する研究成果を中心に報告しました。今後も、より車両に適したホイール設計技術の確立に向けて研究を進めていきます。

　来年の春季大会では、別テーマでの参加を予定しています。 今後も社会に貢献できる研究の推進と、その成果発信を続けていきます。

　Our laboratory once again participated in the Student Poster Session at the Autumn Congress of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE), which we attend every year. Although we were unable to join the Spring Congress this year, two students presented their research at the Autumn Congress.

　Mr. Yuta Sobue, a master’s student, presented his work on acoustic impedance control at fluid–solid interfaces—a novel technique aimed at reducing flow resistance and noise in curved ducts used in HVAC systems. Unlike conventional methods such as sound absorption, sound insulation, or shape optimization, this study focuses on controlling the boundary surface properties to achieve optimal acoustic impedance and establish a flow field with minimized vortex and turbulence generation.

Study on Flow Control Using Porous Materials Yuta Sobue 10th Student Poster Session, JSAE Autumn Congress (October 15, 2025)

　Mr. Hirofumi Yamakita, an undergraduate student, presented research on the aerodynamic and NV (noise and vibration) performance of automotive wheels. Our goal is to develop wheel design technologies that balance NV, aerodynamic, and handling performance, while achieving low noise, reduced drag, light weight, and high stiffness. In this presentation, he focused on the findings related to NV and aerodynamic performance. Further research will continue toward establishing more advanced wheel design methods for future vehicles.

　We plan to participate in the Spring Congress next year with a different research theme. Our laboratory will continue to promote research that contributes to society and actively present our findings.
