2025.01.09 Gifu University 3rd Academic Summit

We attended the Academic Summit, which served as a platform for dialogue between the university executive leadership and the awardees of the Exploratory Research Support Program. Exploratory Research RAs Hayashi (D1) and Sawahata (D1) also participated and actively interacted with other attendees.

2025.12.15 A second multi-nuclear MRI system has been introduced.

We have newly introduced a multi-nuclear MRI system, enabling the measurement of a wide variety of nuclei including 19F and 2H (deuterium)-in addition to conventional 1H imaging. By employing quantum-technology-based CIDNP high-sensitivity 19F imaging as well as deuterium imaging, this system will significantly advance the visualization of pharmacokinetics and metabolic processes. Leveraging this instrument, we will further promote quantum medicine and life science research.

At QIH2025, Assistant Professor Shiromizu gave a poster presentation. We also welcomed Prof. Vigneron (With the support of Q-Bred) from UCSF for a lecture, who is a pioneer to perform hyperpolarized MRI in humans. After the lecture, We enjoyed dinner together.
