The commencement of Gifu Univ. Faculty of Engineering/ Graduate School of Engineering
On Mar. 25th, 2026, the commencement was held at Gifu University. In our laboratory, nine members (B4 & M2) graduated.

SAMCON2026 in South Korea
On Mar. 6-8, Tomoki Sakata took part in SAMCON2026 in Daegu, South Korea, and received the Outstanding Paper Award.

IECON 2025 in Spain
On Oct. 13-17, 2025, Ryosuke Ito and Yuina Takahashi took part in "The 51st Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society", held in Madrid, Spain.
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan
On Oct. 5-7, 2025, Ryosuke Ito, Yuki Kiriyama, Kaiki Gunji and Yuina Takahashi participated the Expo 2025, where they conducted a demonstration of a future remote-work factory with remote-controlled robots.
SICE FES 2025 in Thailand
On Sep. 9-12, 2025, Kengo Otao and Yuki Kiriyama took part in The 2025 SICE Festival with Annual Conference.
This academic conference was held in Chiang Mai.

We held a gathering to beat the summer heat and to welcome Subhash form India.

University Fair 2024 ~ Innovation Japan
Assistant Professor Hatta exhibited a two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) motor at the "University Fair 2024 ~ Innovation Japan" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on August 22nd and 23rd.
Kengo Otao, a B4 student in our laboratory, also attended this exhibition as a presentation staff member.

Best Paper Presentation Award
Subhash Pratap (D3) has been awarded the Best Paper Presentation Award in the Manipulation & Grasping session at the Advances in Robotics (AIR) 2023 Conference. The paper's title is "Grasp Synergies in Activities of Daily Living: A Cross-sectional Study using a Multi-sensory Data Glove."

IEEE Nagoya Section Conference Presentation Award
Asato Washizu (M2) won the "IEEE Nagoya Section Conference Presentation Award" from the IEEE Nagoya Section for his presentation at IECON 2022. For this, he won an award from the Dean of the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Gifu University.
