About Research

Our lab is dedicated to developing novel diagnostic methods and therapeutic targets for cancer through advanced proteome analysis. A key focus of our work is the high-sensitivity, high-throughput analysis of antigen–antibody complexes, which are formed during immune responses (humoral immunity) to pathogens or pathogenic tissues. This unique analytical approach has enabled us to identify promising biomarkers for cancer diagnosis. At the Immunoproteomics Laboratory, we are continuously developing innovative technologies to track antigen–antibody interactions in both space and time, applying these tools to disease research. In particular, we focus on glycosylation, a crucial post-translational modification that regulates protein function. We explore its role in immune recognition and its connection to disease development and progression.
