Center Activities

The International Student Center was established in May 1996 as a campus-wide educational research facility. The Center's main objectives are to contribute to and promote the University's international activities by offering Japanese language and Japanese studies courses for international students, to provide overseas students with guidance and counseling in their studies and daily life, and to conduct research into these areas.
The Center publishes an annual report and an academic publication of its members' research articles. The Center hosts many activities, such as the public seminars (from 2006) and the 1993 Forum on the Teaching of Japanese in Local Communities. Please refer to Public Seminars / Forums.
