Gifu University Summer School started in 1988. Every year between June and July the University offers an eight-week course and a four-week course. This program is ranked as a university event and conducted by the ISC. Many participants come from Lund University in Sweden, Seoul National University of Science and Technology in Korea, Mokpo National University in Korea, and other universities. The program consists of Japanese language and culture classes, including a number of field trips and homestays. Eligibility for participation is based on the status of students from our exchange universities.
