The Biofunctional Chemistry Laboratory aims to understand and control complex biological phenomena at the molecular level. By leveraging synthetic organic chemistry, we develop original fluorescent probes to visualize and analyze the spatiotemporal dynamics of intracellular functions such as organelle behavior, lipid metabolism, and glycan trafficking. Our mission is to visualize life and manipulate biological functions through chemistry, thereby creating new platforms for life science research.
