|The UGSVS offers a four year doctoral course which focuses on one of four fields and culminates in the Degree of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences. It was established through the cooperation of four member universities and enjoys the collaboration of four national research institutes. The individual histories, locations, and features of these separate institutions afford the UGSVS a uniquely diverse program of education and research in response to the wide spectrum of students’ goals and research interests.|
Requirements for Admission
In addition to passing an entrance exam, applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
The admission examination consists of the following:
1. English Ability Test
2. Subject Test (from the field of applicant’s desired chief academic advisor)
The oral test focuses on the applicant’s undergraduate or master’s thesis as well as
research plans and reasons for wanting to study at the UGSVS.
Screening of Applicants
Applicants are screened on the basis of academic transcripts and entrance exam scores. Applicants will be sent a notice of acceptance or rejection.
