Outline of our laboratory

The purpose of our research

The purpose of our research is to determine the molecular dynamics, elastic properties, refractive index, equation of state, and so on, as a function of pressure and temperature, about hydrogen-bonded materials, Van der Waals solids and orientationally disordered crystals (plastic crystals) by using the methods of high-pressure Raman and Brillouin spectroscopies. Diamond anvil cell (DAC) and Herium refrigerator are employed to realize the conditions under high-pressure and low-temperature.
