How to view documents written in Japanese (using Netscape 2.0 or higher)

  1. Select "Document Encoding" from the "Options" menu.

  2. From the pulldown menu select "Japanese (Auto-Detect)."

  3. To see pages written in German, French and other European languages again, select "Western (Latin 1)" from the "Document Encoding" pulldown menu.
