In recent years, food safety, food shortage and the effect of chemical pesticides on the environment have become serious problems we on a global scale. In order to solve them, it is important to use appropriate methods to prevent crop damage, and especially imperative that we better understand the features and properties of pathogenic microbes on the molecular level. In this laboratory, we aim to elucidate the pathogenicity molecular mechanism of phytopathogenic fungi by studying the genome and proteome of the well-known plant pathogen, Fusarium. |
