Tuition and Fees
Tuition and other fees for degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking students are listed as below:

*Entrance examination fee is included in the application fee for degree-seeking students
Application and registration fees are one-time payment. Application fee for the "3rd Grade Transfer Program" is 30,000 yen. If there is a revision of tuition fee, revised fees will be applied to all the current students.
Tuition payments
Undergraduate / Graduate Students
Upon enrollment (in February or March), students who start their studies in April are supposed to pay the tuition fees for the first semester (six months) or the first and second semesters (one year) along with their registration fee. If you are a student who commences your study in October, please contact the Student Affairs Division of the faculty.
Thereafter, the tuition fee payments are to be made by automatic bank or postal transfer from your bank or postal account at the designated banks or post offices. The prescribed procedures are required at the time of the Entrance-Formalities (Nyugakutetsuzuki). The payment is normally made around May 27 for the first semester, and around November 27 for the second semester.
Research / Auditing Students
For research students and auditing students, a bill and transfer request form (Seikyusho Ken Furikomi Iraisho) will be sent to the students and it is required to follow the instructions indicated in the form.
Research students normally required to pay the sum of 6-month tuitions together with the registration fee at the time of admission. Thereafter, they will make payments in two installments (April and October) at the faculty office.
Tuition exemptions
Undergraduate / Graduate Students
Privately-financed degree-seeking students, who demonstrate excellent academic records and are in need of financial assistance, are eligible to be considered for fee exemptions totaling the entire or half of the tuition or registration fees. You must apply for the Tuition Fee Exemption for each of the semesters before the deadline.
However, as the possibility of obtaining an exemption is low, it is advisable to prepare to pay the necessary fees.
New degree-seeking students who want to apply for the Fee Exemption are required to apply for the first selection stage in the review process at the time of entrance-formalities. For current students, the application process for the fee exemptions takes place each semester. Please contact the Student Assistance Division (Gakuseishienka) for details.
Research / Auditing Students
Research students and auditing students are NOT eligible to apply for fee exemptions.
Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship Students are exempted from paying any fees.
