Lee Wah was born in 1975 in Seremban, Malaysia. After receiving her B.
Sci. (Hons) from the National University of Malaysia (1999) and undergoing
3 years of reserved army training (1996-1999), she came to Japan in 2000
and joined the Takeuchi Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of
Engineering, Gifu University, as a graduate student and received her M.
Eng. in 2002. She continued being a doctorate student in the same laboratory
for 2 years before being appointed as Research Associate in 2004 in the
same university. Lee Wah received her D. Eng. from Nagoya University in
2007 and was promoted to her current position in the same year. Her research
interests are focused on the development of novel stationary phases, novel
detection and separation systems (using the valve/column switching techniques)
mainly for capillary LC. Besides watching movies and cooking, she also
enjoys all kinds of sports especially baseball games and Sumo
wrestling (watching it, of course). |
