Planes, Trains, Buses
  • From Central Japan International Airport (Centrair, NGO) to Meitetsu Gifu station
    by train- Take the Airport Limited Express train or Rapid Limited Express train ( "μ‐SKY")  which provides a direct service from the airport to the Meitetsu Gifu station. The "μ‐SKY"（μ = Greek letter for MU） is the fastest and the most convenient access train to Gifu city from the airport. Under normal conditions, it will take about one hour and the fare is 1660 yen (1310 yen + μ-ticket 350 yen).

    • From Nagoya Airport (IATA: NKM, ICAO: RJNA, Domestic line) to Nagoya station
      by bus - Take the shuttle bus to Nagoya station. During non-rush hour, it will take about 25 minutes.(Nagoya Airport Japanese only)

    • From JR Nagoya station to JR Gifu station
      by train- Take the Tokaido Line to JR Gifu station (about 20 minutes).


    • From Meitetsu Nagoya station to Meitetsu Gifu station
      by train- Take the Nagoya hon-sen to Meitetsu Gifu station (about 30 minutes).


  • From JR Gifu station or Meitetsu Gifu station to Gifu University
    by bus- There are bus stops in front of the north exit of JR Gifu station and near the Meitetsu Gifu station. Take "Gifu university campus line", "Gifu university hospital line", or "Ginan-cho line" and get off the bus at "Gifu daigaku" (about 30 minutes, 310 yen). (Gifu Bus Japanese only)

    by taxi- From JR Gifu station or Meitetsu Gifu station, about 20 minutes (Ca. 2500 Yen).




  • From JR Gifu-Hashima (Shinkansen) station
    Take a taxi to the campus and it will take about 40 minutes.




  • By car
    From Gifu-hashima I.C., about 40 minutes (15 km).
    From Ichinomiya I.C., about 50 minutes (25 km).
    From Gifu-Kagamihara I.C., about 40 minutes (20 km).
    You can also exit from Ichinomiya-Kisogawa I.C.
    • Parking Suggestions
      There is parking lot in the campus (parking fee: 300yen)
